Lille City Sightseeing Tour

The tour was perfectly fine. Just know that it is all prerecorded in the different languages with the driver periodically pointing to the points of interest as the bus passed them. The driver was very nice as were the people inside the office where you need to go in advance to get your printed ticked. Gives a basic overview of the city but not much depth.

On arriving at Lille there is no street or square location on booking, only phone number. When I showed the Lille tourist shop they were surprised that it was not indicated. Where you have two phone numbers on the same sheet of the booking is on surely one of them could be included.

This wonderful 1 hour 15 mins tour gets you to see all of Lille and its historical buildings . Collect the mini bus outside The Tourism Centre which is not far from Grand Place. I booked on line for 12 -60 Feb 2018 prices . My bus left at 10 30 am and with ear buds in and commentary in Englishand any other language you wish we were off . Look towards the mini TV screens in the bus and they tell you about the buildings you are looking at and also the driver adds some information . I even saw where Charles de Gaulle was born .The time goes very quickly . The driver was lovely and even the staff at the Tourist information centre was great to as they spoke English as well.. A good way to see Lille ..

As this was a second trip to Lille I decided to take a bus tour to explore what I had not seen before. It's a bus tour in which you wear some light earbud type headphones and listen to narration of the city in your specific language. Its was okay, but not five stars. It covered an hours worth of travel around the city. This is great to find your bearings. I would recommend for those who have never been to this city.

The bus was a great way to see the highlights of Antwerp!

The tour was very good but won't be booking with Viators again. According to Viators ticket instructions I could not book a time for my tour or a children's ticket - I had to phone the tourist office in Lille for a tour time slot and they said children's tickets are cheaper and visitor should allow.

Unfortunately we didnt get to go on the 1st April as the bus driver was ill, but our trip was rearranged for 2nd April at 11am. Trip was excellent, very informative and the head sets, with English commentary were cery good and I liked the bits of film that went with it, to show you the inside of some of the buildings.

Plenty of good information but disappointing not to have either a transcript or subtitles for my deaf father which I had alerted on my original booking.Overall the three of us that could hear the audio guide were pleased but couldn't increase this by sharing comments and ideas with the forth member of our party. The driver was extremely courteous and helpful as well as apologetic!

Absolutely fascinating tour through a lovely city, really good for learning about Lille and getting one's bearings. Well worth going on.
